John Anthony Aniston was born to Stella Joanne (mother) and Antonios Anastassakis (father). Anthony was born the Greek island of Crete. When Aniston was at the age of 2, his family migrated from Crete to America.
When they arrived in America, Anthony’s father anglicized the family names. The family built their home in Chester, Pennsylvania, and then ran a restaurant to generate revenue.
Anthony earned his bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from the Pennsylvania State University. Anthony was part of the fraternity Alpha Chi Rho at Pennsylvania State University.
When Anthony graduated from college, he later worked as an intelligence officer for the United States Navy, first on active duty in Panama and then in the reserve. Anthony then rose to the rank of lieutenant commander.
He later became a well-known actor who was best known for his role as Victor Kiriakis on the NBC daytime drama series Days of Our Lives. Anthony died in 2022. He has a daughter who has taken over him in the movie industry called Jennifer Aniston.
